I changed the Player, Target, ToT, Focus and Focus Target frames. They were too small and too clustered to see anything, in particular on a 25 man raid. Now the health/mana of the player frame is displayed when hovering the mouse over the bar.

So far so good. I moved things a little and it looks better. It’s not amazing yet, but it solved a few issues. I have the party settings solved aswell, and made the bartender bars a bit bigger.

What I don’t like: Quartz and classtimer bars colors. I hate that, I can’t find a color that I like and I don’t know how to copy paste when I find one that I want to use for both addons. The size of the bar still worries me, I should go dps to see how it works for me. The focus frame is hanging in there and I don’t know what to do with it.

What I like: I finally found a place for the palyer’s pet (not showing on the screenshot) that looks quite ok. Bartender looks nice also.

What I’m not sure about: totems, totems, totems… Since the new patch I don’t know what to do with them, every totem addon takes up a bunch of space and it sucks that I can’t change totems in combats with the default frame (moved with bartender as you can see).

Oh, boy, do I hate them already…

I chose pitbull because it’s the addon I’m more used to and I really like the way you can configure almost everything. But there are things at wich it will fail horribly (just like other addons fail at what Pitbull succedes). Still, it may be just my ignorance, but that’s not what’s happening right now.

What I like: Well, you can’t see that on the screenshot but the bars are supposed to be class coloured for the raid. Colouring the names makes them blurry and difficult to read. Overall I like the raid frames, I tried them on BG and I like the position they are in. My main being a healer, one of my goals was to keep my raid frames in the middle, but I’m not so sure anymore after the problems it has caused me…

What I don’t like: The rest of the bars… Everything works around my raid frame, so stuff is floating here and there and bars like the ToT are placed just where they have a spot and look terrible while on solo mode. I guess that can be fixed creating different layouts for different situations, but I still don’t like it while in raid. I definitely don’t like how the portrait looks on the bars with that width (they looked fine on Caith UI, but they were huge compared to this). And yes, Quartz there just sucks. I just can’t find the place to put them.

What I’m not sure about: I’m not sure about the text in the bars. Neither the font, the positioning or the layout. It just doesn’t feel right. I want to keep everything tidy without losing information. I guess this would change if I change the rest of the bars.

So far I feel too compelled to copy everything Caith has done, but I don’t want to. I guess it’s a matter of time and tweaking my ui and somehow I’ll find my own way of doing things.
